Information
We provide direct and indirect services to people with sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait. We also provide presentations about sickle cell disease throughout the community. Our client population ranges from birth to adult. Our social workers provide individual and group support and intensive case management services.
Special Information:
Accepts BSW, MSW 1st year students, full and part-time opportunities. Student will need transportation. Travel reimbursement is granted. Office hours are from 8:30-5:00, Monday-Thursday, and Friday by appointment. Our office location is not on the bus route. Stipends are offered when available. Video and audio taping is permitted upon request.
