Craig Stanley

Craig Stanley is a teaching professor at the College of Social Work and is the director of strategic initiatives and special projects in the FSU Office of Faculty Development and Advancement. He served as interim dean from January 2022 until October 2023. He also served as associate dean for academic affairs for the college since 2015, served as director of the MSW program from 2009-2015 and has filled other administrative and teaching positions since 2004. He is a licensed clinical social worker and spent more than a decade as a social work practitioner with local organizations including DISC Village, Children’s Home Society and substance use treatment programs. He is a member of the Council on Social Work Education, Society for Social Work Research and National Association of Social Workers.
