Jessica Greil-Burkhart is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the College of Social Work at Florida State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Georgia and a qualified supervisor for licensure in both states. In her current role, she serves as a field advisor for undergraduate and graduate students during their internships and teaches clinical social work courses. In addition, she currently works as a cognitive-behavioral therapist on a clinical trial for veterans through FSU Neuromodulation and the College of Medicine.

A three-time graduate of FSU, Jessica’s clinical expertise includes cognitive-behavioral therapy and related approaches, exposure-based treatments, crisis intervention, and the treatment of mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma- and anxiety-related disorders, as well as schizophrenia and related psychoses. She is trained in and utilizes a range of evidence-based approaches, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR).
