Shelby Pederson
Doctoral Student
Shelby Pederson is a doctoral student at the College of Social Work and a legislative analyst for the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability. Shelby’s research has focused on law enforcement and correctional officer training, prisoner re-entry, and mental health and substance abuse policy in the criminal legal system. As a legislative analyst, Shelby supports the Florida Legislature by providing data, evaluative research, and objective analyses that assist legislative budget and policy deliberations.
