The FSU College of Social Work proudly announces the launch of its new magazine, Communitas.

“Social work is a shared story, and Communitas is the shared vision of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends to strengthen our College’s community,” Dean Nicholas Mazza said.

Communitas profiles many of the exciting things going on currently in the College.  Read about how the magazine got its name, how the College is combating domestic violence and the latest development news.  The magazine also highlights some of the College’s best and brightest faculty, students, alumni and friends.  Communitas will be an annual publication available digitally and on a limited basis in print.

The magazine is a part of a larger celebration of National Social Work Month. The College will start off with a Popcorn Kick-off in the University C Lobby at 11 am, March 1st. The events to follow are a combination of  awareness, service and student appreciation events.
