Broward Therapy Group is a specialized group practice providing neuro-affirming mental health services for children, teens, and adults. Our primary focus is supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, through individual therapy, coaching, and consultation, utilizing evidence-based approaches s Our practice services clients of all ages, with a strong emphasis on pediatric, adolescent clients. We also offer social skills and understanding groups for elementary and middle school students. Belonging and Exploration, a monthly teen outing program designed to foster social connections. Social workers at BTG play a vital role in providing direct clinical services, psychoeducational ND clients and their families. Master's level interns will have the opportunity to gain individual therapy, group facilitation, case conceptualization, treatment planning, and they will work alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive, hands-on learning en that prioritizes both clinical skill development and neuro-affirming care. We welcome social work students who are passionate about working with neurodiverse populations and are eager to develop clinical competencies in a dynamic, affirming, and inclusive setting.
Special Placement Information:
The Agency MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year, and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, Part-time MSW. Student will need their transportation. Students need to have school-issued liability. Video or audio taping is permitted, depending on the permission of the client. Our hours are generally weekdays, Monday-Friday from 11 am to 7 pm, and Saturdays.
