J & A Counseling provides substance use and Mental Health counseling to a wide variety of clients.
We specialize in group counseling, family counseling, anger management, and individual counseling.  We complete substance use evaluations and secretary of state evaluations.
We work with adolescents, adults, and families.
We provide alcohol and drug education and services to the juvenile court.  We also provide services to a jail alternative treatment program off-site as well as services in the midland county jail.  
We work closely with local courts and many EAP programs. We also provide drug and alcohol testing services.

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW students. Part-time positions only.
Interns work at our main offices. Agency accessible by public transit. If off-site work is completed, interns ride with therapists from our office.  
Liability insurance not required.
Video-/Audio-taping permitted with client knowledge and consent.  
Agency hours: 9:00AM-7:00PM, Monday-Thursday. 9:00AM-5:00PM, Fridays.
