Kids Central, Inc. (KCI) is contracted with the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) to serve as the Community Based Care (CBC) lead agency for privatized children welfare services in Circuit 5 which is composed of Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion, and Sumter Counties.  
As the lead agency, KCI is responsible for developing and monitoring a system of care that adequately provides for tor the safety, wellbeing, and permanency planning of children in the child welfare system.  
The system of care also includes prevention and diversion services aimed towards assisting families before child abuse or neglect occurs.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW and MSW 1st-year students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Agency hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM.
Transportation required. 
Liability insurance.
