We serve the 4 most northwestern counties in FA: Catoosa, Walker, Chattanooga, and Dade with both adult and child and adolescent mental health services as well as addictive disease services to the same populations.  Social Workers, especially LCSWs and social work interns, are highly valued and difficult to find in our area.  Social work training is effectively a broad field of study which prepares graduates to be highly successful in our field.  LCSWs can provide services exclusive only to that credential as well as Clinical Psychologists, NPs, and physicians.  Counseling grads and LPCs are more plentiful in our area, but as not as broadly prepared or highly credentialed.  We generally offer jobs to high performing MSW students.

MSW 1st Year and 2nd Year/Advanced Standing (clinical) Full time and Part time.  Public transportation is not available in our area.  Students are expected to use their personal vehicle to get to and from work.  Hours are 8:30am-5:00pm.  There is no stipend available.  Taping of sessions is permitted and the agency from must be completed.  Students are expected to provide proof of professional liability insurance.  Students are required to complete a federal criminal record check via fingerprinting (agency pays).  Students are required to complete a number of online and face to face training prior to or soon after beginning the internship.
