ACTT (Assertive Community Treatment Team) is a mobile multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of severe and persistent mental illness (SMP).
LSC ACT operates in Orange, Person, and Chatham Counties in NC.  ACTT takes treatment to the person.  
The team includes a director, psychiatrist, psychiatric nurses, clinical counselors, a substance abuse counselor, a peer support specialist, a vocational specialist, and an office manager.  
ACTT provides comprehensive person-centered care.  
Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Although ACTT operates from an office, 75 percent of services are provided to the individual at home, at work, or in other community settings, wherever and whenever needed.  ACTT provides services to adults 18 and up.  ACTT helps clients to maximize their quality of life while maintaining their independence.

Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation not required, but helpful. Travel reimbursement available.
