One Roof

Information

This agency is the lead agency in this Continuum of Care, so it is our responsibility to coordinate all homeless services in a three-county area so that gaps are filled and services are not duplicated.  One Roof is the lead agency in implementing a shared case management software, which allows for the collection and utilization of extensive local data on demographics, racial equity, system performance measures, program performance measures, etc.  This data is utilized to assist clients and participating agencies as well as to inform HUD and other funders on outcomes.   Social workers do street outreach to identify, assess, and engage homeless people of all ages, genders, and family make-up.  Social workers use the evidence-based SOAR program to assist disabled homeless persons to go quickly and accurately apply for SSI and SSDI to get an income and federal disability status.
