Agency Description:

PTP offers a comprehensive array of assessment and therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Services are both therapeutic and psycho-educational, fostering and supporting change and growth through healing the wounds of trauma and life challenges, as well as training and skill development to enhance coping skills and build resilience.

Accepted interns serve our agency and community by providing low to no-cost mental health services to youth and their families who are uninsured, underinsured, or struggling with co- insurance challenges along with the following: 
 •    Provided therapeutic services to kids, teens, and adults at in home, office based, or school setting
•    Complete intake paperwork, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment plans with clients
•    Attend weekly supervisions with Clinical Supervisor
•    Comply with all insurance and Pathways service documentation
•    Create treatment plan with clients
•    Complete working diagnosis with client and supervisor
•    Advocate for clients in school and community settings

•    Create and facilitate groups for kids, teens, and adults

•    Shadow therapists and behavioral aides

•    Offer effective clinical services through all stages of treatment
 

Special Information:

Accepting MSW (Clinical) students.  Full-time positions available. All students will need liability insurance. The student will need transportation if they live in GA and will be doing in-person sessions. Our agency provides telehealth sessions for clients via GoogleMeets. Pathways does not offer a stipend. Our hours are flexible but we do ask our students to work three days a week, ~24 hours per week. We do not require COVID vaccination for our interns.
