Rite of Passage is an organization that uses evidence-based practices to aid in the rehabilitation of youth. As a residential program of TrueCore Behavioral Solutions, Orange Youth Academy provides services to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in addition to individual, group, and family therapy, supportive counseling, and crisis management to males in the juvenile justice system. Youth range in age from 12-19.

Accepting MSW 1st-year, MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Intern will:
assist in filing clinical charts, plan group activities, observe therapeutic groups, cofacilitate or facilitate therapeutic groups, gather information for the completion of assessments, learn how to complete biopsychosocial evaluations, and learn to formulate treatment plans.
Agency hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday.
Transportation not available and no travel reimbursement. No stipends available.
Agency is accessible by bus. The facility is secure, and personal items such as cell phones, wallets, or any items that might pose a safety concern to youth or staff are not permitted.
