South Western School District is an educational entity.  The district serves over 4,000 students across six buildings K-12.  The social worker coordinates social services access, mental health initiatives, homelessness, and foster care needs.  The social worker also provides direct mental health services to students.

Special Placement Information:

The agency is accepting MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, (Clinical), Part-time MSW.  The student will need to provide her own transportation, and no financial compensation, including reimbursement, will be provided.  The student will be covered under district liability insurances.  The social worker also has her own liability insurance.  Video and audio taping will only be permitted, if necessary, with superintendent, school board, parent, and student consent/assent.  The student can perform her hours any time between 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.
