SHIP provides urgent services and critical support for the hundreds of Frederick County youth (age 6-22) experiencing homelessness each year.

Special Placement Information

BSW full time, MSW 1st year students full time, MSW 2nd year and Advanced standing, Social Policy and Administration.  Agency personnel works in area high schools assisting homeless youth in assuring access to community services and support that enable them to succeed in school and complete their secondary education.  The student will need transportation and maintain an automobile to personal liability.  Weekend and evening hours are generally not available nor necessary.  The agency’s offices are accessible by bus.
