Intern would be working within Ryerson Elementary School, which services students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school Social Worker primarily works with students who receive special education services, conduct social assessments, and provide individual and group counseling.
Additionally, there will be interactions with staff and friends.

Intern job description:
Prospectively, the intern will work closely with the school Social Worker to conduct social assessments, learn about special education services and code/regulations, provide support to families, counsel students in grades K-5, and learn about case management.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Agency hours: 8:35AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday.
