Established in 1972, The Centers, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit Florida corporation accredited by The Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO) on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and licensed by the State of Florida. The primary function is to provide a wide variety of services (mental health, substance abuse, child welfare) to help people of all ages (child, adolescent, adult, geriatric) reach their highest level of functioning through the delivery of services in Marion and Citrus, FL counties.

Special Information:
BSW and MSW students. Bus service is not provided in the area. Transportation will not be provided by agency. Travel is only reimbursed for employees who submit the designated forms for qualified travel expenses. No stipend is available from The Centers, Inc. Liability insurance is provided for employees only. Video and/or audiotaping is not permitted. The CBC program is generally open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with flexible hours for on-call rotation.
