Information

Inspired by our Founder's life journey, Warrick Dunn Charities, Inc. (WDC) empowers families to break the cycle of generational poverty and achieve a better quality of life for all.
Actively serving all age demographics and ethnicities, Warrick Dunn Charities has expanded from our flagship Homes for the Holidays program into four additional programs: Count on Your Future, SCULPT, Hearts for Community Service Scholarships, and Betty’s Hope. Together, our five programs are dedicated to strengthening and transforming communities by combating poverty, hunger, and improving the quality of lives for families academically, socially, and economically.
The role of the Social Work Intern at WDC is to use prior knowledge and current classroom concepts to connect the organization directly to populations and communities in
need and implement curriculum.

Intern job description:
The Warrick Dunn Charities, Inc., MSW Intern will have the opportunity to work directly with both groups and communities during their Field Placement. Under the Supervision of our Executive Director, the MSW Intern will work with the Programs Team to plan projects from inception to execution, attend bi-monthly Executive and Board meetings, provide support and leadership to WDC fundraising outreach/events, collect and analyze WDC programing data, and develop assessment tools to measure various data points for our program participants.
