QLC’s primary function is to provide day treatment to individuals with mental illness and intellectual delays.  QLC provides interactive group therapy, individual therapy, case management services, as well as psychiatric services with our on site pychiatrist.  Our populations are lower in socio-economic status, and range in ages from 18-80.  In group therapy, we focus on psychosocial rehabilitation and behavioral health.  We utilize our counselors and therapists to assist our persons served with rehabilitation back into the community.  We offer 5 groups a day, 5 days a week.

Special Information:

MSW 1st and 2nd year. Full time only.  QLC is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.  We also have a day treatment facility in Hilliard, and a Respite care in Fernandina Beach.  Our Respite program is open 24 hrs a day and 7 days a week.  There is no stipend available at this time for interning at QLC.  Due to HIPPA laws, any type of video recording or audio taping is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.  Our main clinic is located via bus route in Jacksonville, FL.
