Dothan Behavior Medicine Clinic serves all ages seeking mental health services. The clinic provides therapy, medication management, case management, and other mental health services. The student will be shadowing case managers and other mental health professionals, the student will observe and participate in conducting interviews, conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop professional documentation and communication skills, provide referrals to community resources attend and participate in staff meetings, review the NASW code of ethics, learn evidence-based practices and evaluation processes and join local community boards to support mental health in the community.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency is accepting MSW, 1st year students.  The student has their transportation. The student will need liability insurance which she has already completed. Audio and videotaping are permitted. The agency hours are normal, Monday through Friday from 8 to 5. There are
 no evening or weekend hours.
