JourneyPure Emerald Coast is a co-occurring substance use and mental health treatment facility. We cover a full continuum of care from medical detox, residential, IOP, and OP levels of care. We treat adults 18 and older, and social workers can carry a caseload, conduct assessments, treatment planning, and act as full members of the clinical team.
Special Information:
The Agency accepts BSW, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year, and Advanced Standing Clinical, Part-time BSW, and Part-time MSW. We do not provide transportation or travel expenses back and forth to work. We have liability insurance, and it is my understanding that the college does as well. Taping without showing the patient is allowed. The facility is an inpatient so it is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Weekend hours are available for interns. I don't believe any buses come out this far on the west end of the beach. Intern schedules are flexible, and we can generally accommodate what they need.
