The Salvation Army Domestic Violence & Rape Crisis Program provides services to victims of domestic violence & sexual assault and their children.  Services provided include but are not limited to individual and support group counseling for adults and children.  24 hour crisis hotline, emergency safe shelter, information and referral, advocacy, legal advocacy, case management services, community education and professional training.

Special Information:

BSW/MSW Full and Part-Time.  The outreach program is open M-F 8-4:30. outreach offices are located in Bay, Gulf and Washington Counties.  Students may also work at the program’s safe house that is located in Bay County.  The safe house is open and run by staff 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Students will need their own transportation and will need to pay for their fingerprinting and background check.  Audio and video taping are not permitted due to the nature of the services provided.  Students will also be required to attend a 24 hour core comprehensive training prior to working individually with program participants.
