Counseling and Medical Social Work Services for the aging and disabled population of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.  Social Worker is responsible for psycho-social assessments, follow up counseling, and information and referral of clients to appropriate community resources.  Some administrative work will also be required.

Special Information

MSW only, part-time available.  The MSW Practicum  Student will need to have transportation, mileage reimbursable through Internal Revenue Service income tax return for 2014.  Student will be responsible for keeping up with mileage, voucher to be provided.  Stipend is available if requested or required at $200.00/month for living expenses.  Video or audio taping is not permitted.  The agency office hours are from 10:00am-7:00pm Monday through Friday, though direct services are provided throughout the day and house calls can be made on the weekend.  The Student's work is covered under the Agency's liability insurance.  One on One Clinical Supervision in preparation for the FL State Board Exam is provided one (1) hour a week in addition to ongoing supervision and instruction throughout the work week.
