Keithen Mathis

Keithen Mathis is the first Assistant Dean for Culture and Community Engagement at the College of Social Work and is a teaching professor. He served for many years as a field education faculty member. His teaching and social work practice interests include cultural diversity and competency, social work and field education and criminal justice, social justice, and human rights.  

Katrina Boone

Katrina Boone is an associate teaching professor and has been director of Field Education since 2005. She is an active member of the Council on Social Work Education, serving on the Council of Field Education since 2016 and with the Task Force to Advance Anti-Racism Work Group. She is also an active member of the Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors, serving as Field Committee chair in 2020.
