Tracy McDade

Tracy McDade is an assistant teaching professor with extensive experience in the public and private sectors, primarily with nonprofit child welfare organizations. She supports undergraduate and graduate social work students in child welfare internships, particularly in Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia counties. 

Victoria Verano

Victoria (Vicky) Verano is a teaching professor and a licensed clinical social worker in Florida. She serves as a field placement advisor for both undergraduate students and graduate students. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses related to family violence, loss and bereavement and medical social work. 

Fran Gomory

Fran Gomory is a teaching professor and has been director of the MSW program at the College of Social Work since 2015. Her areas of expertise in social work practice include group work, clinical practice, social work administration and women’s issues. She teaches courses in these areas both in-person and online. She was named Professor of the Year at the College of Social Work in the years (2011-2012) and (2016-2017) and was nominated several times for University Teaching Awards.  

Katrina Boone

Katrina Boone is an associate teaching professor and has been director of Field Education since 2005. She is an active member of the Council on Social Work Education, serving on the Council of Field Education since 2016 and with the Task Force to Advance Anti-Racism Work Group. She is also an active member of the Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors, serving as Field Committee chair in 2020.
