Annelise Mennicke wins GADE Leadership and Service Award
Annelise Mennicke is winner of the prestigious 2015 Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education (GADE) Leadership and Service Award! The GADE Student Award for Leadership and Service is given to a social work doctoral student or group of students who, through on-going or time-limited actions, activities or project(s), have shown significant leadership in service to their School, University, or professional or academic associations. Annelise received this award for her contributions to the FSU community on sexual violence prevention. She developed trainings for fraternity and sorority members, chaired committees that developed and implemented a sexual violence prevention plan, and was co-PI on a grant that facilitated the adoption of a comprehensive bystander intervention program at FSU. As winner, she will be provided a certificate and monetary award at the Doctoral Student Award Breakfast held at the annual CSWE APM Conference.
