Broward County School Board is the sixth-largest school district in the U.S. The school social work department assists the students to reach their educational goals.  Though providing school social work services, we help students overcome emotional barriers as we link schools, families with the community.

Special Placement Information

MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing (Social Policy and Administration) Clinical).  School social work interns must have their own vehicle to be able to travel to different schools throughout the day and conduct home visits.  A school social work intern would also need to have his or her own cell phone and email address.  The school social work intern will also need to be able to pass a level-3 background check to be able to work with children in Broward County schools.
