At Community Mental Health for Central Michigan (CMHCM), we have programs that serve consumers from birth and beyond. CMHCM services consumers with moderate to severe and persistent mental illness. This includes those with Serve Mental Illnesses, Substance Use concerns, Intellectual Disabilities and more. Our role in the community is to serve those needing the highest levels of care. We accomplish this through our many programs. Those programs include: Outpatient Therapy, Case Management, Peer Supports, Club House, Psychiatry, Home-based Therapy, Multisystemic Therapy, Crisis Services, Assertive Community Treatment and many more.

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation to and from facility required. Agency accessible by public transit. Transportation needed while completing internship activities will be provided by the agency via agency vehicle, ride sharing with full time staff or mileage reimbursement. 
Stipend not available. 
Liability insurance provided by agency. 
Video-/Audio-taping permitted with approval. 
Agency hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday. However, some programs, such as crisis services, are a 24/7 service.
