Our Mission: To advocate for children and provide positive family support and education. Our vision every child: Safe, Healthy, Happy we have several different programs at Dunebrook that serves different ages. Our Healthy Families program provides parenting support for families prenatally to 5 years old. Our child Advocacy Center provides forensic interviews for children under age 18 of suspected abuse or neglect. Our Public education program provides Body Safety Presentations in schools from K-12 and also provides stewards of children presentations to adults to educate them on facts about child sexual abuse. Our Parent and Family education program provides parenting classes in a variety of settings to groups or individuals.
Special Placement Information:
The Agency is accepting BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Students, Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW. The student will need reliable transportation to the agency and for travel in the community. We do not reimburse for travel or provide a stipend. Students need a valid driver's license and auto insurance, if they are driving. Video or audio taping may be permitted depending on the program, but permission must be granted prior. Our typical hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, but some evening hours possible. We do not have a bus stop close to our agency.
