Information

We are a small Mental Health clinic located in Colorado Springs, Colorado with either hybrid or completely virtual internship opportunities available. 
Our clinic specializes in trauma and related disorders. 
We proudly serve clients ages 12 through adulthood. 
Approximately 75% of our clients are on Medicaid.

Intern job description:
Students will see 5-7 clients per week for individual therapy, supportive skill-building, and case management. 
Students will complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
Students have opportunities to participate in lobbying for Medicaid and Mental Health reform, public education through social media, networking, outreaching, management of referrals, program development, and research of client outcomes.

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Liability insurance required.
A quiet, private space and a laptop with a camera and microphone to conduct sessions required.
Students must have at least 12 hours available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8am-5pm MST. Students must also be present for virtual meetings Mondays 10am-11am and Thursdays 8am-10am MST.
