Adoption by Shepherd Care is a faith-based private adoption agency. The corporate office is in South Florida and a satellite office is located in the Orlando area. The agency services families seeking to adopt, both domestic infant and internationally, as well as expectant mother seeking to make an adoption plan for their baby. We provide counseling to all parties in the adoption process and training and education to prospective adoptive parents. We provide home study, matching, placement, and post-placement services.
Special Placement Information:
The Agency accepts MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students. At this time, we are only open to field placements for students who are employees of the agency. Students/employees must have transportation to and from the office. Any work-related travel is done in the agency vehicle or is reimbursed. Office hours are M-F 9:00am-5:00pm, with some nights and weekends for on-call/emergencies.
