David L. Carrosco Job Corps center provides free career training for low-income students between the ages of 16 and 24. Training programs include culinary arts, facility maintenance, automotive and machine repair, office administration, rehabilitation technician, and welding. Students have the opportunity to receive a high school diploma or GED, driver's license, and all certifications associated with their training program. Once student has completed program, they are assisted with finding employment, registering for college, or to advanced training. Assistance with obtaining housing is also provided. Student are provided' medical, dental, and mental health services while in the program.
