Apalachee  is the community mental health center serving Leon and the surrounding counties.  It serves as the only public Baker Act Recieiving facility in Leon County.  Apalachee provides emergency assessment and evaluation, inpatient stabilization, long term residential, day treatment, detox, casemanagement, and outpatient services.  Apalachee serves clients age 6 and older, clients with chronic and severe mental illnes, indigent, homeless, and insured clients.
