Arms Acres is an inpatient substance abuse facility.  We serve the adult population ranging from 18 years and up.  Our clinician’s role is case management.  Our interns would learn the role of case management.  Our interns will also have the opportunity to facilitate co-occurring groups and our family program.

Special Placement Information

BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing students, (Clinical), Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW.  Arms Acres does not provide transportation or a stipend.  We require all interns to provide proof of liability insurance prior to accruing hours if the school does not provide it for them. Video and audio taping is not permitted with patients.  If this is required, the student may do so with their supervisor.  Students will be placed with a staff member who either works Sunday through Thursday 8-4:30 or Tuesday through Saturday, the same hours.  No evening hours are available.
