Avalon Treatment Centers, INC is an Outpatient Drug/Alcohol Treatment Program. 
We service offenders for the Department of Corrections, North Florida Safety Council, running group counseling daily. 
We service Leon, Wakulla, Franklin, Gadsden, and Liberty counties. We have a contract with the Department of Corrections to provide treatment for all state Probation clients. 
We provide services to ages 18 to any age. 
In addition, we provide services such as anger management, batterer intervention, and antitheft.

Intern job description:
The intern would learn the entire scoop of our practice from administration, to screening and intakes, group facilitation, and discharging. 
They will learn to complete drug testing, administration involving policy and procedures, training, etc.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
