Bay Area Behavioral Services is an outpatient mental health center providing individual and family therapy, group therapy, and psychiatric care. We serve ages 4+. The primary population served are clients with Medicaid insurance. Student interns see clients through our pro-bono program, which provides free
individual and family therapy for individuals who are un or underinsured and afford self-pay therapist.
Special Placement Information:
The agency accepts MSW 1st-year students, MSW 2nd-year Advanced Standing Clinical Students, and Part-time MSW. Students need liability insurance. They also must pass a background screening and drug test. Audio and videotaping are permitted with specific informed consent signed by the client.
