Big Bend Community Based care is the lead community based care child welfare agency responsible for prevention, out of home care, foster care, adoptions, independent living and case management for the 14 counties that comprise District 2. BBCBC handles all sub-contracts for direct services and provides administrative oversight. Out direct services include child placement, foster care recruitment and retention of home and community development activities.
Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full-time positions only.
Agency hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday. Evening and weekend hours available.
Travel reimbursement decided by agency.
Stipend may be approved for future interns, this will be determined by a case-by-case basis.
