Private Practice working with adolescents and adults ages 12-99+. We provide individual, family, couples and group counseling.  Primary focus is mental health diagnosis and some dual diagnosis with substance abuse.  The role of the social worker is to provide care for the client population from the start of care. This includes assessing via bio-psychosocial assessment and screenings.  Creating treatment plans with clients and implementing into care. The role of the social worker also includes providing resources when necessary for other services the client may need, including advocating on the community level to help facilitate the needs of the client.

Special Placement Information:

Agency is accepting MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, Part-time MSW.  The office is available by bus and students will need to carry professional liability insurance. Video or audio taping will not be permitted. only permitted at the release of the client's permission.  Office Hours are Tuesday-Thursday 8am-7pm and Friday 8am-3pm.  Our office is located in Mt. Dora, FL and students will need transportation. Students may have opportunity to participate with community affiliates at which time a stipend for gas would be provided if student is requested to travel.
