Pregnancy & Adoption Support is a program of Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington and serves residents within the Diocese of Arlington (Northern half of Virginia)  The program has been licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia since 1947 as a licensed child placing agency and works with expectant families in need of options, counseling, support, expectant families seeking to make an adoption plan for their born or unborn child(ren), families pursuing adoption (private adoption) in need of home study and post-placement services for agency adoption services. The program remains as a lifelong resource for all birth parents who have placed a child for adoption, for all adoptive families, and all who have been adopted through the program.  Scope of services range from counseling, crisis management, case management, community education, and advocacy.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation to facility required. Agency accessible by public transit. Intern will have access to company car, pending agency training and approval, or they can drive their own vehicle and submit for mileage reimbursement.  
Liability insurance not required, but preferred.  
Video-/Audio-taping not permitted. 
Agency hours: 24/7 on-call rotation (intern not responsible for this). Program hours: 8:30AM - 4:30PM. Some evening and weekend hours required, but not typical.
