Centerpointe Counseling is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) dual diagnose substance misuse program. 
There are two locations: one in Sarasota and one in Venice. 
Each office runs an IOP three times a week for three hours. Clients stay in the IOP for 8-10 weeks. Groups are led by Master's level therapists and are a mix of educational and process groups. There is also individual therapy with the client including trauma work such as EMDR and somatic therapies.

Intern job duties:
Assisting in groups
Potentially leading groups
Performing intake assessments
Assisting with other documentation such as treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation required to travel between two offices (15 minutes apart).
Small stipend available.
Liability insurance required.
Video-/Audio-taping permitted with client consent.
Agency hours: 
IOP/Morning group: 9:30AM-11:30PM. Evening group: 6:00PM-9:00PM. Intern is not required to attend both groups a day, schedule is flexible.
Vaccination preferred. Mask-wearing is mandatory if not vaccinated.
