This agency encompasses mental health, medical, and dental services as well as administrative positions. The population served are male inmates ages 18+. The role of social work at this facility is that we term MHP (Mental Health Professional) and these alongside our LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselors), are counselors at the facility. They listen counsel, as well as carry out items such as biopsychosocial profiles, individualized service plans, mental health orientation, diagnosis, etc.
Special Placement Information:
The agency is accepting the BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, (clinical) Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW. The student is aware of all information as the student currently works in the FL. Dept of Corrections (FL prison system). The student will be participating in the employment-based internship where the student will continue with current job duties.
