Community Hospice provides end-of-life care to patients of all ages in both the inpatient and outpatient environments. Social Workers provide grief and anticipatory grief counseling, financial planning/budgeting assistance, interventions in family conflict, referrals to outside agencies for additional home services, communication on behalf of patients with Medicare and Medicaid, patient advocacy, and other services as required.
This will be a work-site placement for intern.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical). Full- and part-time positions available.
Paid internship due to this being a work-site placement. 
Travel reimbursement available.
Agency hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday - Thursday. 8:30AM-12:30PM, Friday.
On-call rotation required. 
Vaccination not required.
