At Necco we are purpose-driven, and that purpose is to lift children out of an impossible situation and into a world filled with hope.  Our purpose is to not only change their circumstances but their journey.  This change requires a sense of safety, stability, and a strong support network that can only come from caring adults.  We believe troubled children and young adults benefit from principles of re-education set forth by Nicholas Hobbs in his book, The Troubled and Troubling Child.  With our dedicated professionals, we make our greatest social impact by providing services such as: adoption, counseling, foster care, independent living, and support services for children and young adults.  Our client’s age range include newborn through adulthood.  We also serve an IDD population of males at our Ohio residential facility, The Necco Center.

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical) students. Full-time positions only.
The requirements of student’s internship supervision are contingent on the student’s working status.  
Transportation required. Travel reimbursement will be determined by Necco administration.
