The team provides services within the Belfast area to adults and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.  The team works within a social work ethos of engaging service users through the Social Work process.  The aim of the service is to work with service users to address the complex circumstances they present with to include addictions, Mental Health, criminal offending, and child protection to support them to gain or maintain their accommodation in hostel, private, and local authority housing.  The team also work specifically with asylum seekers who need support with housing and advocacy and with  'IV'  drug users' linked to residential units in Belfast area.

Special Placement Information:

Accepting BSW students. Full-time positions only.
Agency hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM, with some early work to undertake group work/respond to service user's needs. The placement site is based in Belfast city Centre.  A car is desirable but not essential as agency is accessible by public transit.  Police check and registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council required.  All agency information is confidential and should not be stored on any devices outside the agency computer system.
