TFC is primarily an outpatient substance use Tx facility. Other than a handful of educational programs, we provide outpatient care for adolescents, age 12-17 and adults. Treatment needs are determined by a bio-psychosocial assessment, which uses DSM V diagnosing & ASAM criteria. Client is then placed in the appropriate level of care and can receive services such as treatment planning, intensive outpatient groups, substance use counseling and &
psychotherapy (both group individual}, case management, and peer support. We also provide medicated assisted treatment, co-occurring services, & trauma focused groups. I believe the role of social work fits in to most every aspect of our treatment services.
Special Placement Information:
Part-time MSW. The agency provides insurance to it's employees who provide Tx and aren't under contract, but interns or their educational institution must provide their own liability insurance.
