FAP clinicians conduct assessments, treatment planning, case determination, case management, and provide treatment (group, individual, family, couples) for all DoD beneficiaries with an allegation of intimate partner or child abuse or neglect.  This is done in a healthcare setting and also coordinates with a local military community service agency.  
Clients come from all backgrounds and ages.  
Some clinical prevention and community education is provided as well.

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Stipend not available.
Transportation not required. 
Liability insurance not required.
Agency hours: 07300-1700, Monday-Friday, except federal holidays. Start and end time is a little flexible. Weekend and evening on-call hours available.
Hospital ID cards, background checks, and clearances required.
Proof of insurance, registration, and driver's license required.
Weapons not authorized.
