Gulf Coast Treatment Center is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Center for adolescent girls ages 12-18. 
Individuals served at Gulf Coast Treatment Center must have at least one DSM-V diagnosis and have not been clinically successful in a less restrictive setting. Patients might additionally have significant trauma histories. 
Clinicians at Gulf Coast Treatment Center are key players in the patients treatment process. They facilitate Treatment Team meetings, are responsible for treatment planning, conducting assessments and screenings, provide group services daily, and provide individual and family sessions twice weekly.
Intern job description:
BSW interns: assist with case management components associated with patient care, assist with re-entry and linkages with services, and facilitate psycho-educational group services.
MSW interns: assist in conducting clinical assessments, assist with case management, assist in guide facilitation of group and individual counseling services, and will be responsible for completing clinical documentation for any clinical services they provide.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation to and from agency required. Additional travel not required.
Stipend not available.
Liability insurance not required.
Video-/Audio-taping not permitted.
Agency hours: 24/7. Weekend and evening hours available.
