Community Outreach Court (COC) is a mobile outreach court initiative aimed at addressing homeless individuals' participation with the criminal justice system, in order to clear these individuals' criminal and/or traffic cases, offer social services to help overcome life obstacles that may be hindering their success in society and reduce recidivism. The population consists of male and female adults who are experiencing homelessness or who are imminently homeless.  COC social workers utilize motivational interviewing to help participants determine their most pressing needs, identify their strengths, and develop solutions to reach their goals.
