Agency Description
CRMC University Intensive Outpatient Program is a group therapy based IOP targeted specifically at university students in town who need a higher level of outpatient care. Patient care is provided Monday thought Thursday, offering three groups a day between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm, primarily utilizing principles of DBT, as well as CBT, solution-focused therapy, and others. Through grout therapies and medication management through psychiatric services, patients receive mental health care for an average of 3 to 6 weeks for a myriad of symptoms, diagnoses, and problems to increase their capacity to cope along with their emotional resiliency to improve their quality of life.
Special Information
Accepting MSW 2nd Year/Advanced Standing students (Clinical Only) Full-time. Placements through CRMC are unpaid, require a level 2 background check with fingerprinting as well as student liability insurance. These costs are not covered by CRMC. Additionally, students at the University IOP are expected during normal program hours (Monday - Thursday 11:30 am -8:00 pm; Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm). The agency is conveniently located on campus, near public transit. In rare cases, travel to main campus may be required, but with ample notice.
