Henderson Behavioral Health was established in 1953. We are the oldest and largest provider of behavioral health services in South Florida. We provide behavioral health care, housing and primary health care to over 30,000 people of all ages each year. Our services include housing, job readiness, psychiatric treatment, individual and family therapy, case management and outreach, crisis stabilization, etc. Our Youth and Family department provides a full range of family centered services to youth 0-21. HBH is fully accredited at the highest level through CARF – Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Special Placement Information:

MSW 1st year & 2nd year clinical, and Advanced Standing Students (clinical), Part time BSW and MSW
Transportation is needed. Travel is reimbursed at $0.44 a mile. Liability Insurance is not required. Video and audio are not permitted. Hours are flexible and include evenings and weekends. Services are generally home-based.
